Birthday card for a Daddy!



I have made this card for the Crafters Companions challenge , One for the boys. 

I have used the new Humphrey's stamp collection, which I was lucky enough to win.

This just has to be my all time favourite image at the moment.

I found a wonderful poem to match the image.

Which reads,

Walk a little slower, Dad

Cos I am only small.

I’m following in your footsteps,

And I don’t want to fall.

Someday when I’m all grown up.

You’re what I want to be;

Then I will have a little child,

Who’ll want to follow me.

And I would want to lead just right,

And know that I was true;

So, walk a little slower, Dad,

For I must follow you.

Which I think is a beautiful and very apt to the image.

Now I hope I don't get told off for this ... as they have not shown these yet!!!
