So sorry i have not done any blogging. Just up to my neck , unable to craft , driving me mad. But hope today get a few items to finish my craft room. then I will be back to challenges! YAY.

Well it's that time again over at the stamping ground, where we make you all look at the mess we have got in ... or is that just me , lol .

Well as you know i have been doing my Craft room.

now i am at the point of trying to fit all this into this space .. why is it , when you have more room , you have less space!

As you can see from my work bench .. i am in rather a lot of mess .. yes this is it as now , just come down to post. seem to be getting in a right mess sorting things out .

any way , better get back to it or it will never sort it self out!

As promised , a few more pictures of my craft room , looking rather messy , lol

This is something Stan got me from work. They are car boot boxes ( Perfect for A3 card) , which i have three of, stuffed with A3 card!

Me trying to sort out where to put every thing ( see not going to well, lol)

I just loved these boxes i got from a B&N store that has just opened near me. perfect for my black and white theme.

Oh yes, my glitters, got a few more shelf's to go up yet, but will get there bit by bit.

Got this and the chair also from B&N for only £2.99 , what a bargain!

Must say i did get in a mess doing the light, turned on itself, thought i was gonna have to scrap it .. thank goodness i kept going!

And this was also from B&N .. yes i think i love this place, lol and this was only £3.99.

Be glad when i can get in there and craft .. but so much to do still.

MORNING ALL

Well i thought i better let you all know i am not running wild .. well some may disagree ;)

Been making a headway on my craft room. Now putting stuff in and making it look all messy ( the way it should be). I will take pics later when it is lighter and brighter.

But have to say , still waiting on some storage so have not got too much not in my room yet ( yes still on my bed), good job i don't sleep isn't it , lol.

Anyways, hope to catch up with blog land over the next week. I am sorry sorry i have not had time to visit you and comment. Be glad to get back to crafting , feel as though my hands have been cut off!

JUST A QUICK POST

So sorry I have not been on to the blogs for a little while !

I have had major things going on at home.

Mum poorly and Daughter rushed into hospital, been a whirl wind week!

Hopefully things will calm down now ( she says) and i will be back creating again.

A special sorry for the girls on the IACC blog. I have not finished the card i was doing for the Challenge this week.

I hope all that have been to the NEC had a wonderful time and spend loads ( he he) .

I only went for a few hours but managed to get what i wanted ( card stock) isn't it funny you think you have loads then all of a sudden you are nearly out!

How fast does this come around!

Well i am showing a little peek into my new craft room ( getting there , bit by bit).

The first picture is of my work desk and a few things i have put up ( oops sorry OH has)

I just adore the little jars from Ikea. I have my flowers in them, I still have a lot of jars to put up yet, just need to get some more holders for them.

Under that is my pots also from Ikea ( should get commissions on Ikea,lol). At the moment just thinking of things i will put in , not sure yet, i have scissors and pens in at the moment, but that could change!

The wooden boxes ( both) are from Ikea ( £ the money i could get ;0) ), the longer ones are fab , they fit SU stamps in perfect for each colour family, how perfect is that. and the boxed on is full of every thing that needs sorting!

This picture shows some of my stamps i was sorting last week. I found this while blogging. Sorry if this is your idea, please let me know , i have tried to find the link, but can I!

Such a fab way of getting to your unmounted stamps.

How it was done:- split rings, on to them you add paper clips and then clip your binder clips on to the paper clips. So easy just to press the binder clip and then take your stamps down.

I have colour coded mine, so i have each make of stamps with a different colour.

Sad i know!

still a fair bit to go , but feeling more like a craft room now ... just waiting for Stan's friend to get the carpet ( now that could take a while), but if you want things cheap , you have to wait!

MOVING ALONG WITH THE TIMES AND DT CALL/ SIMON SAYS STAMP CHALLENGE

This is my take on the sketch over at Moving Along With The Times challenge. you also have to use embossing .

I have used the Cuttlebug embossing folders and die cut for the image and the snowflakes.

And also a smaller one for the other snowflake ( cannot see it to well).

The sentiment is from the SU's Best Yet set and also punched out with the SU's punches.

I have kept this quite simple as i think the black and silver is enough on this card.

To the snowflakes i have added two silver charms, which are so cute,

I am also entering this for the DT call ( which they have 2 places to fill).

MAGNOLIA CHALLENGE/ SIMON SAYS STAMP CHALLENGE

This week over at Just Magnolia , the challenge is to use Monochrome.

And over at Simon says stamp is all that sparkles.

So i decided on Pink and While.

For this card i have used some of the Glitter Girls papers.

stickles. And some lovely flowers i got from cats whiskers from a candy i won.

And lovely Raffia.

I have not done a lot of crafting , far to busy putting stuff on my craft room wall !

ABOUT TIME! ( update on my craft room)

Well it has taken nearly two weeks to get my plaster to come and do this wall ...at last , it was done today .. Luckily it's only skimmed so should be able to paint in a day or two , and might get this room sorted.

so I hope within the next week i will have a craft room YAY!

Oh don't look on the landing , lol it is rather a tip isn't it , lol

MR SNOW AND MR GREEDY ARRIVE

Just had to show you these two little fellers. Ain't they sweet.

The wonderful Angie made them for me , in super fast time too for my little grandsons for Christmas. They are sooooo soft and so beautifully made. Hun a big thank you xx

Well it's that time of week again ...

where i show you what a mess i have created from last week!

Well i do have a very good excuse for this ... I do , honest.

I am sorting my craft ( stamps) out at the moment, thinking and finding ways to store things that are cheap and easy to get to.

I would love to hang my unmounted stamps so that's what i am doing ... sorting a way to do it.

So of cause i have to get things out ( No it's not all of them).

Oh and the Teddy , that belongs to my Grandson... been there since Sunday ... just never really noticed it till now, lol

MO'S CHALLENGE

This time on mo's challenge it's anything but a card

So i decided to do a box. I will do a card to match.

Just adore this wonderful image, he or she is a cutie pie, and thought that it would be perfect for my two little Grandsons to use for there cards for Christmas.

My work top!

Well last night we put up some cupboard's and the work top .. don't want to put it on yet till all the drilling is done ( well don't want it scratched yet)

Took me months to find a jet black work top. All seem to have a different colour in with it.

But i was lucky, last weekend while at IKEA, they had just got this one in. It's black as black can be, but the edge ( which does not show up to well , is stainless steel. How cool is that.

i am just in the planning stage at the mo , things may get turned around and swapped!

TUSDAY TAGGERS - BURSTS OF COLOUR

I got this wonderful box from the Craft Barn with my winnings over at Tuesday Taggers.
I used Distressed inks ( walnut stain) to colour the box.

And simply used stickles to add a bit of colour. I did enjoy swirling them about!

STAMP WITH US CHALLENGE

The challenge over at stamp With Us this week is this wonderful sketch.

I loved doing this sketch,

i have used stamping up for the card , paper , topper and ribbon.

The butterfly is from a candy i won last week. just loving them , think i will have to ask where i can get some more from.

The image is coloured with sakura pens.

MY CRAFT ROOM ( STORAGE)

Been rather busy doing the little things that take a life time to do in my Craft room.

Why is it the little jobs seem to take longer than building a house from the ground!

But i was treated last weekend to a trip to IKEA from my ever suffering partner ( bless him , he is a saint).

He got me this wonderful Billy Bookcase. For my Birthday.

I have to get a few more draws and cupboards to go into it yet. But I just adore it.

I was going to stick to two colours for my room ( Black and White), so it was easy to pick up things when I saw them. But the white draws well, just did not look right , and the red .. well i had to have,lol.

Don't worry , that is not the carpet that is staying , lol

I also found a black worktop there too. Now i have been every where looking for just a black worktop, but always had another colour in. which annoyed me as i WANTED BLACK.

Thank goodness IKEA had one. And with a wonderful sliver edge.. can't show that as yet not up!

This is a long post , so gonna head off now.
