CRAFTERS COMPANION CHALLENGE

OK i am rather late with this card .. one thing and another .. Not being able to get to my craft stuff is the main one.

Well on the 6th of this month Crafter's Companion challenge went live with the first challenge ( told you i was late) .

This was the sketch to follow done by Wendy ..

And here is my card . All the backing papers and the Topper is from Crafter's Companions Love Bumper CD

I have glittered the backing papers and the butterfly with stickles.

And made the Antoni with wire's.

JUST TO SAY HI

Afternoon all. been a while since i have made a card... everything packed away waiting for my craft room to be sorted.. it is driving me mad.

On the good side, i have now got a ROBO, whooo hooo , so that's taken some of the boredom off.

But i had to show you all what my lovely partner got for me last weekend. He took me to Bournemouth for the weekend ( so do love this place) and went to my fave shop there, Past and Present. saw this stunning mirror that matched a figurine i got last year from there. so just had to have ..... hope i wont be away for much longer... need my crafty stuff back.

SOME NEW CRAFT STORAGE

Been to Ikea today , and got some little bits to start to sort my craft space out.

these were a bargain ( well i think so anyway) £2.59 for 4 little jars, perfect for flowers .. still need loads more. But it's a start!
The i got 3 of these. (Sorry the pictures are so bad, but cant find my camera, so had to use my phone)They were £10 each , but in the sale they were £3.22. Ideal for scissors, pens ...etc.

The of cause i have been looking for these for ever!

I am not sure what i will use these for yet, but hey they were a bargain , lol £1.95 each. So cute.

Well I have had fun getting little bits. All i need now is to sort the room out!

Then i can craft. Oh how i am missing out on so much.

Been away from the blog land for what seems ages.

I'm still sorting out the bedrooms so i can have a craft room... why oh why did i start this!!

Not going to fast as i am on my own moving stuff .. OK till you get to the heavy stuff.

But it will be worth it when i have my own little craft space, I'm missing all the challenges and the chat on here.

So sorry for not visiting your blogs. I will catch up with you all soon I promise.

TUESDAY TAGGERS - SO MACHO!

Oh have i had fun with this.. lol.
I decided to do a fridge magnet .. and what a magnet he is ,lol.

Found the image on the web.. decoupaged him up and added a large paper clip to put all my memos on.

I got the magnets from the £1 shop .. bargain , 4 packs for £1 .. loads in too.

Thought i would have a little craft time for a little while.

I have used the Glitter girls papers and cards once again.

And of cause my beautiful new stamp I won.

She is such a stunning stamp.

Just thought i would let you all know why i have not been around.

At the moment I have been so busy at home , my Daughter is leaving to go and live with her boyfriend. ( worrying time for me ) so been helping her sort things out, as well as sorting stuff out here ... IE .. NEW CRAFT ROOM , lol.

Scrap online challenge

Well this week i did not sit on the wrong place to do this challenge, lol

1 piece of card stock(another one if you like to layer your PP)

This is all we knew till we started chopping / cutting /Gluing at 7:30 .

This is what i came up with , hope you like!

FOREVER FRIENDS CHALLENGE-Citrus Twist

Here is my entry for the Forever Friend challenge.

The challenge this week is to Citrus Twist.

I decided to use the card stock from the last challenge as i had a little left.

The image is from another of the swaps on the Crafters Companion forum who Nicky stamped for me x.

I have loads to use , lol.

TUESDAY TAGGERS- CARD/ WRAPPING PAPER & TAG TO MATCH

Over at tuesday taggers the challenge was to make a card, tag and wrapping paper to match.

This has taken me a little while to do what with over wetting papers , lol.

But finally finished.

I have used a Stamped image from the Crafters companions forum swap I am in.

just think she is so Fabulous. hence the text.

I have used Tim Holtz distressed inks for all the colour work on he card and papers.

DIGITAL TUESDAY - A BOX OR A BAG

Well , i thought i would join in this one.

As on the Digital Tuesday was to make / decorate a box/bag this was perfect.

I do not own many digital down loads.

But i forgot about this one. I have used the Digital stamp from Pink petticoat which was given as a freebie, i coloured them in with Tim Holtz distressed inks.

PROJECT TUESDAY- ORIGAMI BOX

This week on Project Tuesday was to make a origami box.

I have to say i loved doing this. So simple yet looks hard to do.

I am going to get some Thornton's chocolate and put then inside ( nice). and give it to someone special!!

I have used SU papers and pretties kit for the gems and pearls.

I made it so you can open the box by pulling the tab.

HOW TO STORE LOOSE GLITTER'S

OK we all know us crafter's are looking for ways to store our crafty goods. I have been trying different ways to store my loose glitters. ( well I do a have a fair few) Magpie comes to mind.

Well I have tried different jars. But always found that the jars are far to big for them and end up loosing more. So when my Daughter came, she was giving Kye some baby juice.. and a light bulb went off.

They are the perfect size for my glitters!! all i need now is to get Kye to drink about 20 a day .. and i will be able to do them all , whooo hooo.

How sweet do they look !!

STAMP WITH US V'S WENDY'S CHALLENGE

This weeks challenge over at " stamp with us" was Congratulations!

I decided to use Wendy's sketch below to make this card. As it was a perfect layout for this card.

The front of the card.

I have used SU papers punches and stamps.

I then made a tie out of ribbon ( well impressed with myself i must say) .And then added a brad from the SU pretties kit.

Inside is a simple layout, as i think the outside had a lot going on. So i just printed a verse and added some peel offs.I like the way this card has turned out,as i find it hard to do men's and boy's cards.
